Course Profile
After extensive deliberations and discussions with the industry, students and their parents, Maharshi Dayanand University conceptualized a unique and innovative 3–year, full-time, regular BBA (Industry Integrated) programme. This programme is aimed at developing management skills, job knowledge, and hard-core experience to handle dynamic business situations.
Eligibility
Successful 10+2 students or equivalent with minimum 40% marks in aggregate from Board of Education recognized by the University, are eligible for enrollment to this course.
Selection Process
Enrolled students will be admitted to the programme after successfully qualifying the Group Discussion and Personal Interview by a panel of Senior Academicians, Director of the Institute, and the Professionals from diverse Industries.
Award of Degree
The students, after successfully completing this 3-year Regular Degree Programme, during which their theoretical and practical training is duly evaluated, will be awarded the Bachelor of Business Administration (Industry Integrated) Degree by Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak.
Unique Features
- Students will be interviewed and short listed by reputed Industry or Corporate for admissions.
- Selected students will undergo on-the-job Training in leading Industry/Corporate.
- Industry may pay monthly stipend to the students as per University norms.
- Regular Classroom sessions will be held at approved Extended Learning Centers (ELC) at flexi timings.
Programme Methodology
This programme has consciously adopted the Industry Integrated pattern of education so as to equip the students with the requisite skill-set to meet the Industry requirements. The students, in the first semester, would undergo in-house training to prepare themselves to get equipped with the required skills to step into the real work environment. From second semester onwards, the student would have to work in the Industry / Corporate for about 4 days a week and simultaneously attend theoretical classroom sessions for 2 days a week. Each semester would conclude with a semester-end examination, conducted by the University. The industry evaluation of the students will be incorporated in the final result and award of degree.

Course Profile
Master of Business Administration (Industry Integrated) is not just a post-graduate degree in business administration, rather it is an extension of the traditional MBA programme in the sense that it involves highly interactive teaching sessions and diversified work experience. In each classroom session of MBA (Industry Integrated) programme, an in-depth preparation goes into imparting the modern concepts of management with emphasis on class participation and case studies, which are strategically important in learning the fast changing business scenario. This programme is conceptualized to provide hands-on experience in the real time business.
MBA (Industry Integrated) programme is more application oriented and gives practical exposure to the students along with the classroom theoretical knowledge of business & industry.
The programme methodology differs significantly from the traditional method. This programme blends Industry Exposure with Academic Knowledge. In this programme, the student has to undergo On-the-Job Training from the 2nd semester to the 4th semester. The Academic component will be provided through classroom learning at the University approved Extended Learning Centers located in different parts of the country. By the end of the programme, the students get a regular management degree as well as the industry exposure and experience. Hence, the students successfully completing this programme have a greater edge over the students doing traditional programmes.
Eligibility:
A Bachelor’s degree with minimum aggregate score of 40% in any discipline from a University recognized by UGC.
On-the-Job Training:
The student would undergo On-the-Job Training in an organization for 4 days per week starting from the 2nd semester to 4th semester. On-the-Job Training would be arranged and monitored by NIAM. However, students can also arrange for the training themselves and NIAM shall monitor the same.

Programme Details
Duration:
The duration of this programme is 2 academic years spread over 4 semesters. On successful completion of all the semesters, the students will be awarded with the MBA (Industry Integrated) degree by Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak.
MBA (Industry Integrated) programme can benefit those who have just passed their graduation and have no knowledge about working environment of today’s business organizations. During the pursuance of the programme, the students get the opportunity to understand their skill-sets, learn the working methods and understand the expectations of the industry.
MBA (Industry Integrated) is a challenging programme for the following reasons:
An intensive 50 hours In-house Training on personality development, time management and industry relevant skills in 1st semester.
A continuous On-the-Job Training in real business world from 2nd semester onwards.
The University and the Industry jointly evaluate the student’s performance
